What Are Dipping Nails?
DIP powder nails is a technique in which our nail
technicians will dust or brush a pigmented power
over your nails to create an opaque layer of colour.
A few coats will be added for opacity, then our nail
technicians will paint a liquid sealant on top to
harden the powder, before being covered with a top
coat for shine.
At Polish Nail Bar, we

the dip powder that we use contains nourishing
calcium and vitamins that will help to fortify your
nails.
Maintaining a healthy nail bed is

during DIP removal, using the beneficial nail oil
from Oilab. Post-gel manicure, a cuticle oil or
serum becomes your best friend. Due to the removal

Treatment steps:
1. Removal process: If you have
existing dip on your hands or existing gel polish on
top of the dip, we delicately initiate the removal
process using an efile to gently file down the
layers. Following this, we let your nails soak in
acetone for about 20 minutes, ensuring effective and
thorough removal.
2. Nail and cuticle preparation: We meticulously push back cuticles, clean and trim them, cut and shape the nails, buff the surface for smoothness and conclude with an alcohol cleanse to eliminate dust and excess oils, ensuring an ideal surface for the dip powder application
3. Preparing extension tips (optional): If you have opted for dip nails with tip to prolong your nails, we start by preparing the extension tips, filing and shaping them to create the desired look.
4. Applying the dip: Your skilled nail technician will then dip your nails into the powder, brushing off excess. This process involves adding approximately 3 layers of dip for a durable and flawless finish.
5. Liquid sealant and reshaping: Following the dip application, a liquid sealant is applied to solidify the powder. If needed, our nail technician will reshape your nails and buff them for an optimal appearance.
6.Application of Sunscreen and/or gloves: Prior to the application of gel polish on your nails, we offer an additional service for our comfort. Would you like us to apply sunscreen to your hands or provide a pair of gloves to protect your skin during the process? Your well-being is important to us, and we’re here to ensure your experience is as enjoyable as possible.
7. Gel Polish Application (optional): If desired, we offer the option to apply gel polish. Each layer of gel polish is cured for 30-60 seconds.
8. Top coat and cuticle oil: Lastly, our nail technician will apply a layer of top coat on your nails to give them that extra shine before finishing off with applying the oilab nail oil.
